Abstract
Fahmi Fachruzaqi. 2025. The Effect of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) Model Assisted by Wordwall Media on the Indonesian Language Learning Outcomes of Grade III Students at SDN Randugede. Undergraduate Thesis. Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas PGRI Madiun. Advisors: (I) Dr. Cerianing Putri Pratiwi, M.Pd., (II) Dr. Candra Dewi, M.Pd. This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by Wordwall media on the Indonesian language learning outcomes of third-grade students at SDN Randugede. The background of this research is the low level of students' understanding of verb types, which is caused by the use of less interactive and teacher-centered teaching methods. Conventional learning methods, which tend to be one-way, result in students being less engaged in the learning process, ultimately affecting their academic performance. The research method used is a quasi-experimental approach with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sample consisted of two classes: the experimental class, which implemented the PBL model with Wordwall media, and the control class, which used conventional teaching methods. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, documentation, and essay tests administered as both pre-tests and post-tests. The results of the study showed a significant improvement in learning outcomes in the experimental class compared to the control class. Students in the experimental group tended to show a higher average post-test score. This proves that the use of the PBL model supported by Wordwall media has a positive impact on students' understanding, particularly in learning types of verbs in Indonesian language lessons. Therefore, this learning model can be considered an effective and interactive alternative to improve students' academic achievement at the elementary school level. Keywords: Problem-Based Learning (PBL), Wordwall, learning outcomes, Indonesian language, verbs.
