Abstract
Linda Majestia Christy. 2025. Compilation of E-Booklet Based on Observation of Medicinal Plant Diversity in Bening Saradan Reservoir Area, Madiun. Thesis. Biology Education Study Program, FKIP, Universitas PGRI Madiun. Supervisors (I) Prof. Marheny Lukitasari, S.P., M.Pd, (II) Dr. C. Novi Primiani, M.Pd. The development of digital technology in the modern era has brought significant changes in how we access information, including in education and the dissemination of environmental knowledge. Digital media such as e-booklets have become a practical and effective alternative to print media in conveying information. This study aims to develop an observation-based e-booklet on the diversity of medicinal plants in the Bening Saradan Reservoir area, Madiun Regency, and to analyze the potential of each plant species as a traditional medicine. The methods used included field exploration and observation using the PictureThis application for plant identification. The results revealed 18 families and 21 species of medicinal plants, most of which contain secondary metabolites such as flavonoids, saponins, tannins, steroids, terpenoids, and alkaloids that play an important role in traditional medicine. Validation was carried out by media and material experts, with a total score of 93.05% for the media and 78.85% for the material. The results of this study indicate that the Observation-Based E-booklet on Medicinal Plant Diversity is suitable as a public education medium.
