Abstract

Oyster mushroom cultivation is a sector of agriculture that requires special attention to the humidity and temperature of the growing environment. One of the major challenges faced by mushroom farmers is maintaining stabel humidity and temperature due to the manual watering process, limited time, and lack of real-time environmental condition information. This study aims to design and implement an automatic oyster mushroom watering Kontrol and monitoring system based on the Internet of Things (IoT) using AppSheet to improve efficiency and yield. The methodology used in this study is IoT-METH (Collins, 2017), which includes six stages: generating ideas, refining ideas, conceptualizing the project, designing the architecture, prototyping, and deploying the IoT system. The system utilizes a DHT22 sensor to measure temperature and humidity, an ESP32 microcontroller as the main controller, and a 12V water pump for the watering process. Environmental condition data is transmitted in real-time to the AppSheet platform, which also provides a user interface for remote monitoring and control, both manually and automatically based on a schedule. This system helps mushroom farmers to efficiently and effectively monitor and maintain the growing environment in real-time.
