Abstract
Prasepti Prihastuti. 2025. Efforts to improve economic learning outcomes through the Quantum learning model with Baambozle media in students of grade XI B SMAN 1 Jiwan for the 2024-2025 academic year. Thesis, Economics Education Study Program, FKIP, UNIVERSITAS PGRI MADIUN. Supervisor (1) Dr.Dra. Ninik Srijani, M.Pd., M.M (2) Drs. Wikanso, M.Pd SMA Negeri 1 Jiwan is one of the high schools in Jiwan sub-district, Madiun Regency that has implemented the Merdeka curriculum. The learning of this independent curriculum uses the lecture method and students are given the freedom to find learning resources by being given facilities in the form of wifi networks in schools that can be used by students to support learning. This research aims to improve the learning outcomes of economics subjects through the application of the Quantum Learning learning model with the help of Baamboozle media in students of grade XI B SMAN 1 Jiwan for the 2024/2025 academic year. The Quantum Learning model is applied with an approach that emphasizes student activeness in the learning process, while Baamboozle media serves as an interactive and fun tool to increase student engagement. The data collection techniques used include tests (pre-test and post-test), observation of teacher and student activities, and documentation. The method used in this study uses Classroom Action Research (PTK). Data collection was carried out in class XI B with a total of 23 students, 11 male students and 12 female students. Data collection using observation, tests, and documentation. The results of the study showed a significant increase in students' economic learning outcomes. In the first cycle, as many as 14 out of 23 students (60.9%) achieved scores above the KKM. After improvements were made in the second cycle, the number of students who completed it increased to 21 people (91.3%). The average student score also increased from 66.8 in the first cycle to 81 in the second cycle. These findings prove that the application of the Baamboozle media-assisted Quantum Learning model is effective in improving students' economic learning outcomes.
