Abstract
Students' low mastery of mathematics, particularly in the Two-Variable Linear Equation System (SYS), remains a problem at SMK Gamaliel 1 Madiun, as indicated by a learning completion rate of only 15%. This problem is caused by weak learning motivation and limited learning materials appropriate to the students' environment. This study aims to develop an ethnomathematics-based EModule for the Two Variable Linear Equation System (SPLDV) material for Vocational High School students. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model, which includes stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. This study involved students of class X Tpm A and TBSM SMK Gamaliel 1 Madiun. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, questionnaires, tests, and documentation. The instruments used in this study were E-Module and material validation questionnaires, teacher and student response questionnaires, observation sheets, interview guidelines, pre-test and post-test questions and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the E-Module obtained a validity score percentage of 83.78% with a very valid category. The practicality of the E-Module received a score percentage of 89% from teachers and 83% from students, with both included in the very practical category. The effectiveness of the E-Module is shown through an increase in learning outcomes based on the results of the N-Gain percentage calculation of 71% with a high category and an increase in learning motivation of 53% with a medium category. The ethnomathematics based e-module for the SPLDV material was found to be highly valid, practical, and effective in improving motivation and learning outcomes, and is suitable as a teaching material for mathematics instruction in vocational schools.
