Abstract
This study aims to develop Augmented Reality (AR)-based learning media with the help of a science inquiry model on fifth-grade elementary school science (IPAS) material. This media was designed using the Assemblr Studio Web platform to increase students' learning interest. The development process follows the ADDIE model which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The validation results from material experts showed a score of 86.67% (very feasible), media experts 76.00% (feasible), and language experts 72.00% (feasible), with an overall average of 78.22% (feasible). Positive responses were also obtained from teachers (97.3% very practical) and students (94.8% very practical), indicating that this media is easy to use, interesting, and suitable for science learning. The effectiveness test using an independent samples t-test on pretest and posttest scores showed a significant difference between the experimental and control classes (Sig. 2-tailed <0.001), with a higher average increase in learning outcomes in the experimental class. This proves that the use of AR-based learning media combined with the science inquiry model is effective in improving students' learning outcomes and understanding of the water cycle material.
