Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of using the Solar System Scope application on students' learning outcomes in the solar system material. The low level of students' understanding of solar system concepts in elementary school is caused by the abstract nature of the material and the lack of use of technology-based learning media. Teachers still rely on textbooks without the support of interactive visualization, making it difficult for students to imagine the arrangement and movement of celestial bodies.This research uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design of the one-group pretest-posttest type. The population in this study consists of all sixth-grade students at SDN Purworejo, totaling 25 students, who were also selected as the sample using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and tests (pretest and posttest), then analyzed using the paired sample t-test. The analysis results showed a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, so H₀ is rejected and H₁ is accepted. This indicates that there is a significant effect of using the Solar System Scope application on improving students' learning outcomes. Thus, the use of technology-based learning media such as Solar System Scope has proven effective in helping students understand the abstract concept of the solar system in a more concrete and engaging way.
