Abstract

Employee performance is an important faktor in the sustainability and development of MSMEs. A comfortable and conducive work environment and high work enthusiasm are believed to be able to encourage increased employee performance. This study aims to: determine the effect of the work environment on employee performance at MSME "New Tweety", determine the effect of work enthusiasm on employee performance at MSME "New Tweety", and determine the effect of the work environment and work enthusiasm on employee performance at MSME "New Tweety". The method used is a quantitative research method. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and documentation. The population in this study were all employees at MSME "New Tweety" in the production section totaling 82 employees. The sampling technique used is total sampling where all populations are sampled so that the sample used is 82. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS software version 25. The results of the study indicate that the three hypotheses proposed are accepted, namely: (1) the significance value of the work environment variabel is 0.000 so that the work environment affects employee performance at the "New Tweety" UMKM, (2) the significance value of the work spirit variabel is 0.000 so that work spirit affects employee performance at the "New Tweety" UMKM, (3) the significance value of the work environment and work spirit variabels is 0.000 so that simultaneously the work environment and work spirit affect employee performance at the "New Tweety" UMKM. Thus, this finding indicates that the combination of a good work environment at the New Tweety UMKM coupled with high employee work spirit can increase employee performance.
