M.Pd (II) Melik Budiarti, S.Sos., M.A Key Terms: Problem-Based Learning, Flipbook Media, Cognitive Learning Outcomes Cognitive ability is a form of knowledge mastery that every student must possess. Students' cognitive learning outcomes in mathematics, especially on whole numbers, are still low. The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement in cognitive learning outcomes using the Problem-Based Learning model assisted by Flipbook media for fifth grade elementary school students on whole numbers. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects in this study were 10 students. This data collection technique used data tests, observation, and documentation. The results of the study showed a classical completion rate of 20% in the pre-cycle, 60% in the first cycle, and 90% in the second cycle. This indicates that the implementation of Problem-Based Learning media with the aid of Flipbooks can improve the cognitive learning outcomes of fifth-grade students.
