Abstract

This research was motivated by problems observed in the field, particularly the low critical thinking skills of students due to the lack of interactive and contextual learning media. The aim of this study was to examine the effectiveness of interactive E-worksheets (E-LKPD) based on ethnomathematics in improving the critical thinking skills of sixth-grade elementary students. This study used a quantitative approach with a true experimental design, specifically the posttest-only control group design. The research sample consisted of sixth-grade students at SDN 4 Pohijo as the experimental group and SDN 1 Pohijo as the control group, selected using simple random sampling. Data were collected using essay tests and analyzed through normality, homogeneity, and t-tests. The results indicated a significant difference in post-test scores between the experimental and control groups. The mean post-test score of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group. Based on the t-test results, the significance value was 0.000 < 0.05, which means H₀ was rejected and H_a was accepted. The conclusion of this study is that interactive E-worksheets based on ethnomathematics are effective in enhancing the critical thinking skills of sixth-grade students in the topic of three-dimensional geometry.
