Abstract
Mathematics instruction in lower elementary grades still largely relies on lecture-based methods, causing students to become passive and easily bored, especially with addition and subtraction materials. Therefore, the "Pot Larang" media—designed as a three-dimensional flower pot—was developed to be engaging and aligned with students' characteristics. This research used a Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model, encompassing the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data were collected through observation, interviews, expert validation, and questionnaires from teachers and students. The validation results indicated that the media was highly feasible, with scores of 89.1% from material experts, 85.4% from media experts, 100% from teachers, and 95.25% from students. Thus, the "Pot Larang" media is considered effective in supporting mathematics learning for first-grade elementary students.
