Abstract

Penty Puspitasari. The Influence of Purchase Interest and Ease of Use of Features on Purchase Decisions Using Shopee Paylater (Case Study of Residents of RT. 02 RW. 02 Dusun Cupo, Grudo Village, Ngawi Subdistrict, Ngawi Regency). Thesis. Economics Education Study Program, UNIVERSITAS PGRI MADIUN, Supervisors (I) Dr. Novita Erliana Sari, S.Pd., M.Pd (II) Yahya Reka Wirawan, S.Pd., M.Pd Keywords: purchase intention, ease of use of features, buying decisions. This study aims to: (1) find out the effect of purchase interest on buying decisions, (2) find out the effect of ease of use of features on buying decisions, and (3) find out the effect of both purchase interest and ease of use of features on buying decisions. This research is a quantitative study with an associative research type. The population in this study includes all residents of Cupo who have the research characteristics. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling/census with a total of 37 respondents taken from the entire population of residents who use Shopee PayLater. The data collection methods used in this study are questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis used includes classical assumption tests such as normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, autocorrelation test, and hypothesis testing including multiple linear regression test, t-test, F-test, and the coefficient of determination. The results of this study show that: The classical assumption test for normality indicates that the data is normally distributed, the multicollinearity test shows that variables X and Y do not have multicollinearity issues, the heteroscedasticity test shows that there are no heteroscedasticity problems, and the autocorrelation test indicates that there are no signs of autocorrelation. The hypothesis test results show that the multiple linear regression test indicates that variables X_1 and X_2 have an effect on variable Y, the partial (t) test shows that individually, variables X_1 and X_2 do not affect Y, the simultaneous (f) test shows that variables X_1 and X_2 together influence Y, and the determination test shows that variables X_1 and X_2 affect variable Y by 16.7%. The conclusion of this study is that individually (partially), neither the purchase interest factor nor the ease of using the features can influence residents' decisions to make transactions using Shopee Paylater. However, these two variables need to work together (simultaneously) to have a positive contribution to purchasing decisions, even though their impact is relatively small and most residents' purchasing decisions are influenced by other factors beyond the study.
