Abstract

Inventory management is a crucial element for the survival of fashion retail businesses, which are characterized by rapid trend movements. The primary obstacle frequently encountered by fashion MSMEs is the management's inability to determine procurement priorities, resulting in business capital being tied up in slow-moving items. This study aims to design and develop a web-based finished goods Inventory information system integrated with the ABC (Always Better Control) Analysis method. The system is built to automate manual records, manage master stock data, track real-time incoming and outgoing stock transactions, and automatically classify apparel priorities based on their annual investment value. The system development method implemented is the Waterfall model, which comprises requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and deployment stages. The system is developed using the Laravel framework on the backend and Sqlite as the database management system. The results indicate that the system runs smoothly according to user requirements, as verified by functional evaluation using blackbox testing across all test cases, which entirely achieved a valid status. Furthermore, the system successfully executes the ABC Analysis algorithm to independently classify the apparel portfolio into Class A (strict control), Class B (moderate control), and Class C (loose control) categories based on Pareto's Law. Consequently, this system can serve as a robust operational foundation for the boutique Owner to mitigate financial risks caused by overstocking or stockouts
