Abstract
Based on observations at SMA Negeri 1 Ngrayun on December 4 2023 regarding Biology learning in class XI. The data obtained is conventional learning such as the lecture method, which results in students tending to get bored and choosing to discuss with their friends. This can influence biology learning outcomes that are not yet optimal. This research aims to determine the effect of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model using Augmented Reality (AR) media on student learning outcomes on human circulatory system material and to determine the effectiveness of Augmented Reality (AR) based learning media on circulatory system material. This research will be implemented from November 2023 to July 2024 at Universitas PGRI Madiun and SMAN 1 Ngrayun Ponorogo. The method used in this research is quantitative experiments. The Project Based Learning (PjBL) model uses Augmented Reality (AR) media which includes discussion, presentation, and project work activities combined with simple and interesting media. Augmented Reality (AR) media testing by media expert validation and application to students. The research results show that there is a significant and real influence from the application of Augmented Reality (AR) media as seen from the average pre-test result of 51.54 while the average post-test value of 79.12 is still higher than the control class, namely class XI SAINMED 2 obtained an average pre-test score of 46.15 while the average post-test score was 68.15. Meanwhile, based on data obtained from media experts, the AR media used in this research has a feasibility score of 80%.
