Abstract
One way to describe or interpret nomophobia, often known as "no mobile phone phobia," is as an addiction to smartphones. People's incapacity to manage and regulate their smartphone use will have a number of detrimental effects, including dependency, which causes addicts to experience anxiety, tension, restlessness, and worry when they are not able to use their devices. The systematic desensitization procedures used in behavioral therapy are one service that might lessen anxiety brought on by nomophobia or being away from cellphones. Because anxiety symptoms may be managed and eliminated by reducing the intensity of the stimulus that causes anxiety, this method is seen as relevant. in order for this method to be regarded as successful in conquering nomophobic behavior. This research sought to ascertain if behavioral therapy combined with a systematic desensitization strategy might effectively alter the nomophobia of SMK Negeri 1 Wonoasri's Class XI pupils. This kind of study uses a pretest-posttest design with a single group and is pre-experimental. All pupils in class XI TKR SMKN 1 Wonoasri Madiun Regency make up the study's population. There were fifteen students that struggled with nomophobia behavior, and the sampling strategy used the purposive sample approach. use the Wilcoxon Test to analyze data. The significant value, or Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed), was 0.004 (0.004 <0.05), according to the data. These findings suggest that nomophobia behavior differs before and after receiving behavioral treatment using methodical desensitization strategies. These findings demonstrate the effectiveness of behavioral therapy in lowering students' nomophobic behavior when combined with methodical desensitization procedures
