Abstract
This research is an experimental research in the form of Pre-Test and Post-Test which aims to determine the effect of word card media on the learning outcomes of Indonesian reading skills for class I students at SD Negeri Jagir 1 Sine District, Ngawi Regency through the use of word card media. The data collection technique used was descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. The results of this research prove that whether there is an influence of word card media on the learning outcomes of Indonesian reading skills for class I students at SD Negeri Jagir 1 Sine District, Ngawi Regency through the use of word card media is 1). The learning outcomes of class I students at SD Negeri Jagir 1 after implementing word card media had an effect on student learning outcomes which can be seen from the percentage gains, namely very high 45%, high 45%, medium 10%, low 0%. 2). The application of word card media has an effect on the results of learning Indonesian reading skills for class I students at Jagir 1 State Elementary School. After obtaining t count = 5.97 and t table = 1.729, we get t count > t table or 5.97 > 1.729. So, this research proves that there is an influence of word card media on the learning outcomes of Indonesian Reading Skills for Class I Students at SD Negeri Jagir 1, Sine District, Ngawi Regency.
