Abstract

The objective of this research is to determine the impact of return on assets, gross profit margin, and net profit margin on profit growth in the Transportation Subsector Service companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2017 to 2022. The population of this study consists of 189 Transportation Subsector Service companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The number of samples in the study is 46 companies over a 6-year period, resulting in a total of 276 companies determined through purposive sampling. The design in this research uses a quantitative approach model. The data analysis conducted used multiple linear regression analysis with the SPSS application. The research results show that 1) the return on asset variable has a positive and significant effect on profit growth, 2) the gross profit margin variable has a positive and significant effect on profit growth, and 3) the net profit margin variable has a positive and significant effect on profit growth.
