Abstract

This research focuses on developing a website-based information system regarding financial management. This system is designed to help business owners manage their finances, especially those in this research who are business owners of the Riska motor showroom. Motorcycle showrooms require efficient management to maintain business growth. Manual methods in managing financial data and reports often cause problems such as difficulties in searching for data and inaccuracies in financial reports. The aim of this research is to design and develop a financial management information system that can be used in motorbike showrooms. This system is expected to prevent and minimize losses due to inaccurate data and financial reports. This research was carried out using the waterfall system development method which includes analysis, design, implementation and system testing stages. The results of this research show that the financial management information system developed is able to overcome the problems faced by Riska Motor. The system simplifies the process of inputting, searching and updating data and produces accurate financial reports. It is hoped that the implementation of this system can support good decision making and improve business performance at the Riska Motor showroom .
