The Effect of Leverage, Profitability and Financial Distress towards Hedging Decisions in Basic and Chemical Sub-Sector Manufacturing Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2020 2023. Skripsi. Program Studi Akuntansi, Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis, Universitas PGRI Madiun. Pembimbing (I) M. Agus Sudrajat, S.E., M.Si., CSRS, Pembimbing (II) Dra. Juli Murwani, M.Si., CSRS. This study aims to determine the effect of leverage, profitability and financial distress towards hedging decisions in basic and chemical sub-sector manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2020-2023 period. The population of this study was 91 basic and chemical sub-sector manufacturing companies. The number of samples in this study was 69 companies determined by purposive sampling. The research method used was a quantitative approach with logistic regression analysis using the SPSS 25 program. The results of this study indicate that leverage does not affect hedging decisions, profitability does not affect hedging decisions, and financial distress affects hedging decisions.
