Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the effect of investment decisions and research and development towards company value moderated by dividend policy. The sample in this study was 210 manufacturing company data listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2016-2022 period using the purposive sampling method. Data were obtained from financial and annual reports published by the company through their respective company websites. The research method used was a quantitative approach. Data analysis techniques used multiple linear regression analysis and moderated regression analysis with the help of the SPSS version 23 program. The novelty of this study was adding dividend policy as a moderating variable. The results of the study indicate that investment decisions and research and development have a positive effect towards company value. Dividend policy cannot moderate the effect of investment decisions and research and development towards company value. The contribution that can be given in this study is that it can be a strategy for investors and companies when they want to invest and increase company value through research and development, investment decisions and dividend policies.
