Abstract

An expert system for diagnosing diseases in ducks using the forward chaining method can help farmers in diagnosing diseases that ducks are experiencing. This application is designed in the form of a website so that the application is dynamic, practical, and can be accessed anywhere and anytime by breeders. The aim of this research is to design and build an expert system for diagnosing diseases in ducks efficiently and accurately. The method used in developing software is the Waterfall method. The results of this research show that the expert system for diagnosing duck animal diseases has gone through a Black Box testing process with 100% results of the system running as expected. This website was created using several programming languages, these programming languages include HTML, PHP, and the Bootstrap Framework. For the MySQL database to store data from the input entered. When writing each line of code, use the Visual Studio Code tools.
