Abstract

This study aims to develop a Decision Support System (DSS) using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method to support the employee recruitment process at PT Penerbit Jurnal Indonesia. The system is developed using the waterfall development method and based on Object-Oriented Design (OOD), encompassing system flowcharts, use case diagrams, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, and class diagrams. The system implementation utilizes HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL. The outcome of this research is a decision support system successfully developed to enhance the employee selection process at PT Penerbit Jurnal Indonesia. Functional testing shows a compatibility rate of 100%, while SAW calculation testing demonstrates an accuracy level of 100%. This study is expected to contribute to the development of more efficient and effective information systems in the context of employee recruitment and to broaden the application of the SAW method in decision-making within the industrial sector.
