Abstract
Circulo Massage and Swedish Massage are two massage methods used to relieve muscle tension and speed up recovery after intensive physical activity. Both have different techniques and benefits, especially in the context of reducing lactic acid levels in the body. The Circulo Massage and Swedish Massage methods are one of the massage methods that are often used to describe the concentration of lactic acid levels contained in the blood. This study aims to determine the effect of circulo massage and Swedish massage methods on lactic acid levels in Futsal UKM Students of PGRI Madiun University. This study uses an experimental approach method. The subjects in this study are 30 extracurricular sports participants of UKM Futsal at PGRI Madiun University with data collection using purposive random sampling. Data analysis techniques used data description, normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis test. The results of the study showed that the circulo massage method in Futsal UKM students showed a significant difference, namely with an average (mean) of 8,920 mmol/L with the highest value (max) of 9.8 mmol/L and for a minimum value (min) of 8.1 mmol/L. While the Swedish massage method in Futsal UKM students saw a difference, namely with an average value (mean) of 9,747 mmol/L with the highest value (max) of 11.3 mmol/L, and for a minimum value (min) of 8.4 mmol/L.
