Abstract
Laying chicken farming is one industry that has many enthusiasts in Magetan Regency. However, livestock in the Regency Magetan has several problems, namely in terms of facility layout, waste management, distance between cages and so on. This is if occurs will definitely cause some problems in the productivity of laying hens, Therefore, this research aims to increase the productivity of laying hens in Magetan Regency by analyzing the breeding of livestock cages laying hens. Facility layout design is an effort to increase productivity by changing the layout of facilities with see the proximity between facilities. The methods used in the research are:This is a Computerized Relative Allocation of Facilities Technique method (CRAFT), Computerized Layout Planning (CORELAP), Automated Layout Design Problem (ALDEP), and FLEXSIM. Data collection is carried out in two types The data is secondary data obtained from the Livestock and Fisheries Service Magetan Regency in finished form in the form of documents related to the objectives research and primary data obtained from interviews and direct observation in 11 laying hen farms registered with DISNAKAN (Livestock Service and Fisheries) medium to upper scale in Magetan Regency. Data processing using the CORELAP method to obtain a reduction in displacement moment amounting to 62145 m/month and flow efficiency of 6% with treveled kilometers per day 113.11 Km/day The ALDEP method obtains a moment reduction displacement of 36614 m/month and flow efficiency of 85% with kilometers traveled per day 96.94 Km/day. CRAFT method of obtaining reduction in displacement moment of 62145 m/month and flow efficiency by 68% with traveled kilometers per day of 97.62 Km/day. From the initial layout the facilities are adjusted, namely the distance between the egg warehouse, feed warehouse and warehouse equipment, parking areas with layer cages become more efficient. With So continue drawing the design of a laying hen farm using Sketchup software
