Pharmaceutical Studies Program, FIKS, PGRI Madiun University. Guide (I) Dr. apt. Vevi Maritha, S.Farm., M.Farm, Guide (II) Dra. Arum Suproborini, M.Si. . Collagen hydrocylate is a compound be used to heal burns. In addition, the nailfish skin has pharmacological effects that include osteoarthritis and osteoporosis. The purpose of the research is to analyze the characteristics of the preparation of the gel of the skin of the nil fish originating from the fishing service of the city of Madiun with the method of acetic acid. This research is experimental laboratory research. The results of the study on collagen hydrosylate extract from the skins of Nile fish have characteristics including organoleptic tests (color: white, aroma: characteristic extract, texture: soft), viscosity test 29899 cPs as well as pH test 5.2. The results on gel preparation of hydrosilate collagen extract have characteristic including from organoleptic tests (colour : white, fragrance : characteristic extracts, texture : soft), homogeneity test: homogenous, pH test has a value of 5,06-5,15, one bar strength test has the value of 71978-83465 cPs, one bar power test has an value of 5.29-6,88 cm, adhesive strength testing has a score of 9,35-10,90 second. The results of the stability study of gel preparation of collagen hydrosilate extract have stability in storage for 4 weeks at room temperature 40oC.
