Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of financial attitudes and lifestyle on the financial behavior of PGRI Madiun University students through financial literacy as a mediating variable. This research uses a quantitative type of research. The population in this research was 795 students from Accounting Education, Economics Education, Management, D3 Tax Management and Accounting. A sample of 266 students was taken referring to the Slovin formula. This research uses a questionnaire for Accidental Sampling. Data analysis uses descriptive analysis, Outer Model, and Inner Model. The research results show that: 1) Financial attitudes have a significant effect on financial behavior, 2) lifestyle does not have a significant effect on financial behavior 3) Financial literacy also has a significant effect on financial behavior, 4) financial attitudes have a significant effect on financial literacy, 5) style life has no significant effect on financial literacy, 6) financial attitudes have a significant effect on financial behavior through financial literacy, 7) lifestyle has no significant effect on financial behavior through financial literacy
