Abstract

Preparing research-based e-monographs can realize systematic, contextual learning and foster scientific knowledge. Biotechnology is a course that focuses on environmental problems. This research aims to compile a research-based e-monograph that examines the results of screening for molds that degrade carbofuran pesticide residues on an in-vitro scale. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive technique based on identification and characterization in describing a phenomenon objectively according to the facts in the field. The method used is the in-vitro screening technique, this method is observed namely the diameter value of the mold mycelia when administering carbofuran pesticide concentrations, while the research-based e-monograph preparation method is carried out systematically and structured so that the e-monograph is comprehensive, accurate and useful for the readers. The result of this research is that the e-monograph was validated by two validators, namely material experts and media experts with an achievement level of 92.19%. The validation results show that the e-monograph can be used with very valid criteria or is suitable for use as teaching material for biotechnology courses.
