Abstract

Trenggalek Regency is one of the regencies that has a very long history, starting from the prehistoric era with the discovery of ancestral traces, then passing through the Hindu-Buddhist heyday, to the colonial era. Therefore, in Trenggalek Regency there are many historical relics from various eras, especially in the form of sites. This study aims to develop learning media based on QR web technology that maps historical heritage sites in Trenggalek Regency, in order to increase interest in learning history among high school students. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Primary data was obtained through direct observation and interviews with informants who know local history, while secondary data was collected from relevant literature. The results of the study show that: 1) Trenggalek Regency has various historical heritage sites covering the Hindu-Buddhist period to the Dutch colonial period, some of which are not yet widely known by the wider community. 2) The process of mapping historical sites using QR web technology has proven effective in documenting and visualizing historical information accurately. 3) The developed QR web-based map allows quick and easy access to historical information, enhancing a more engaging and interactive learning experience for students. With the existence of QR web-based learning media, it is expected to increase students' and society's awareness and appreciation of the importance of preserving local historical heritage. In addition, this research also contributes to the development of innovative and effective history learning approaches, which can be applied in various regions with rich historical heritage.
