Socioeconomic Changes in the Community of Ngindeng Village, Sawoo District, Ponorogo Regency After the Construction of the Bendo Dam as a Learning Resource for Social Sciences Subjects. Thesis. History Education Study Program, FKIP, Universitas PGRI Madiun. Supervisor (1) Dr. Drs. Soebijantoro, MM., M.Pd., (2) Khoirul Huda, M.Pd. The construction of the Bendo Dam gave rise to a phenomenon, namely socio�economic changes in the community in Ngindeng Village, Sawoo District, Ponorogo Regency. This research aims to: (1) describe the history of the establishment of the Bendo Dam in Ngindeng Village, (2) determine the forms of socio-economic change in the community of Ngindeng Village, (3) determine the relationship between socio-economic changes in the community of Ngindeng Village after the construction of the Bendo Dam as a source of learning. social studies lessons. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data was obtained from observations, interviews and documentation. Research shows that socio-economic changes have occurred in the people of Ngindeng Village, namely in the form of increasingly advanced patterns of thinking in society. This brings changes in education, technology, alternative livelihoods, infrastructure development, and fashion. This has an impact on changes in the economy of the people of Ngindeng Village, with people's income increasing, not just relying on farming results. Forms of social change in the Ngindeng Village community can be used as learning resources as enrichment material for class IX social studies at SMPN 1 Mlarak.
